it's coming down to the wire for the International Olympic Committee to decide if Chicago, Madrid, Tokyo or Rio De Janeiro should get the games that year. the official announcement will be October 2nd.
as much as it would be good for business, I would hate to see the games come to town. corruption already runs rampant here, and this is going to give our local politicians even more to line their pockets with.

I'm so fucking happy we don't have the Olympics coming here;
to fuck up our lakefront
to stuff our politicians pockets with more power and corruption
to paralyze the city traffic
to inflate our economic problems to pay for it all
