I am going to be doing a countdown of the 13 scariest songs in metal for Halloween. I have already made the list but sometimes one can overlook the obvious so I decided to ask you metalheads for your suggestions for such a list. So, what do you think are the most horrific lyrics in metal?

i know of a good song for halloween...its very dark but not very scary......if u played it out your windows on Halloween it might scare kids

Mortician has some scary stuff, although almost all their songs have samples from movies in them and you cant understand the singer at all. i dont know if that helps

No songs in metal are really scary, at least not to me. I just think they're awesome and I think that way so... meh. And Mortician makes me laugh my ass off, the way that guys sings. He sounds like a retard trying to see metal.

when i was a kid i was initially scared by Black Sabath's- Rat salad/Hand of Doom
and Slayer-Reign in Blood record scared me after that this was between the ages of 8 and 13.
And fear keep making coming back till it was in my blood.
And GOd said let there be Metal!

when I was that age, there was a band called Bloodrock that had a song I can't remember the name of that scared the crap outta me, about a guy who was dying after he was in a car wreck. it was played in a minor key (b-flat minor, I think) and the chorus repeated, "I remember we were flying along and hit something in the air."

im going to get hate for saying this but little piece of heaven by avenged sevenfold...song about murdering a chick, having sex with her dead body, her coming back from the dead and killing him and then they get married as zombies and kill everyone...i say thats a pretty scary halloween song lol
