Ohhhh no you didnt.....you didnt.....I knew somebody was going to post this.....They're both fuckin awesome. I dont think you can compare... I would say Rhoads.......and if you ask Zakk he'd probably say the same thing.... I mean can you imagine if he was still alive....what is it 25 years after his death...he would be on another level right now..

Can't compare the 2, both are awesome in their own way.

Yes, I Agree w/ Both Pf You On This!
But Considering That Randy Is No Longer With Us...
I'm Gonna Have To Go w/ Zakk Wylde!
(I Mean, That Star-Spangled Banner Didn't Play Itself!)

It goes like this:
1. ME (Fuck yea!)
2. Randy
3. Zakk

Unlike Randy, Zakk can still get better.
But I'm not a huge fan of Zakk's style, but he's still awesome.

They are both amazing guitarists. But I'd have to say Randy is just a peg above Zakk, because they are both very influential guitaists, Randy influenced the art of shredding, and composition heavily, and Zakk has influenced speed licks, harmonics(obviously), and soloing big time, as well, he has made much more full use of the Wah, and smaller amps in the heavy metal world.

I think its hard to compare, mainly due to Randy being taken away from us much too soon. If randy was still around, would Zakk have ever had the opportunity to play with Ozzy and put his name out there? After Randy Ozzy chose Brad Gillis of Night Ranger to perform on the 'Speak of the Devil' live album, then it was Jake E. Lee (anyone seen or heard from him since he formed Badlands) for two albums, "Bark at the Moon', and 'The Ultimate Sin'. Since then the position has been Zakk's, and he has been simply awesome. And since he's formed Black Label Society, he has been somewhat a cult leader with those fans. Bottom line is its all about picking up the pieces and moving on. In 1980 AC/DC lost Bon Scott, and they replaced him with Brian Johnson. The 1st album Brian did with them came out in Rocktober 1980, titled 'Back in Black'. And I do believe we all know that album.

ozzman 8 posted the best explaination, but there is no comarison realy because Randy Rhodes is kind of dead! Zak Wylde is the best guitar player ALIVE. Another good vs. of guitar players is Dime Bag Darrel or Zak Wylde. Now thats a good question!

If the world didnt suck sometimes everyone would fall off

This one puts one on the spot! Actually its not a fair question since Randy hasn't been around for a while. He hasn't had the chance to grow as a muscian like Zakk has. Not taking anything away from either but -
Honestly, with that said - Draw!
